Computer Hardware Diagnostic
Tests include checks of your most critical computer hardware including your hard drive, RAM and IDE controller.  Other tests include modem, network adapter, video, audio, CD drives and floppy disk drives. A reading of CPU, hard drive and chassis temperatures are also checked for corrected operation.  Serial, parallel and USB ports are tested upon request. 

Complete System Diagnostic
Are you having a computer problem and aren't sure what the issue is?  Could be hardware related, a Windows issue or virus?  We will find out what the problem is then either fix it or recommend the best solution.

Hardware Installation
Have a professional install any compatible internal or external device for you such as a PCI adapter, video card, memory, or drive.  Includes the installation of drivers and accompanying software.  Note:  Internal hard drives are installed as a secondary drive with this service.  Add $50 for primary hard drive replacement; Desktops or Notebooks

Primary Hard Drive Upgrade
Upgrade your slow, obsolete hard drive with a new state of the art 300Mbps SATA2 drive.  Our professionals will install a new SATA2 PCI controller in your computer and will replace your hard drive with a new SATA2 drive.  We will mirror your old drive to the full upgraded hard drive size.  For example with a 500GB drive, if your current C:\ drive is 100GB, the new C:\ drive will be 500GB.  SATA2 with disk speeds at 300Mbps increases the entire speed of the computer drastically.

Hardware not included.  For Windows desktops only.  

Operating System Installation (OEM)
Service includes the factory installation of Windows on a new or formatted hard drive, installation of device drivers and device applications.  Includes installation of latest Microsoft service release and all Microsoft Windows updates.  Cost of OS and software media is not included.  Note: A computer owner is responsible for maintaining a copy of all software and licenses.  In some cases the software is located on the hard drive.  When the original restoration OS CD is not present we will install Windows with a valid COD sticker located on the PC.  However, downloading any drivers or software that is not available is subject to additional fees.

Operating System Installation

In the event Windows is damaged beyond repair or not worth repairing we will backup your important data.  After your data is save we will format your hard drive and install Windows as when it was factory new.  Once all of the device drivers and device applications are installed, and your computer is tested we will copy your important data back to the original locations.  A basic backup consists of documents, photos and music found in My Documents and the Desktop, Favorites and Email profiles found in Local Settings\Application Data.  Service includes the installation of the latest Microsoft service release and all Microsoft Windows updates.  Cost of OS and software media is not included if applicable.  Note: A computer owner is responsible for maintaining a copy of all software and licenses.  In some cases the software is located on the hard drive.  When the original restoration OS CD is not present we will install Windows with a valid COD sticker located on the PC.  However, downloading any drivers or software that is not available is subject to additional fees.

Operating System Installation (Upgrade)
A check is made to determine that the Windows upgrade is compatible with your computer devices and software.  After an upgrade our technicians will download and install all  updated device drivers and device applications.  The latest Microsoft service release is installed along with all Microsoft Windows updates.  Cost of OS upgrade software is not included. 

Software Installation
Any compatible retail application from financial applications to security or office suite.  We will install it and test it for you.  One title.  Cost of software not included.  Discounts given on additional installations on same service visit.

Software Application Troubleshooting 
Are you having problems with a specific software program on your computer or keep getting error messages and aren't sure what the issue is?  We'll find out what the problem and either fix it or recommend the best solution.

New Computer Setup 
Purchase a Plexus built desktop computer or any notebook PC from Plexus and our technicians will personalize it for you, free of charge.  Service includes the testing of all hardware and installation of all Microsoft Windows updates.  A host of free utilities are preinstalled such as Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Flash Player, Sun Micro Java and others.  In addition, we will optimize it for the best performance.  Any purchase of OEM software is also pre-installed at no charge.
