Q:
I am unable to browse the network when I double click on
Network Neighborhood.
A: There may be one of several problems why you are not
able to browse the network.
-
At
times other workstations may not be visible in you
workgroup, but are still connected. A quick way to
find out is to go to FIND, select FIND COMPUTER then
type in the name of the computer you are looking
for.

Check
to see if you have good cable connections. If
you are using BNC, check the "T" connector
and terminators. For twisted pair, use a hub
to connect to other PC's or use a "Cross
Cable" type of connection. (computer to
computer connection)

Check
to make sure you have the proper protocols &
services (Client for Microsoft Networks) installed.
