Q:
When I attempt to run or install a certain program, I'm
told that it requires 256 colors to run.
A: The graphics in some programs require a certain
number of colors in order to run. To check your color
settings:
- Right-click
on the Desktop and choose Properties.
- Click
on the Settings tab.
- Click
on the down arrow to the right of the Color Pallette
box and choose '256 colors' from the list. Click
O.K.
